Button name: Justify

Button feature or action: To "justify" type means that both margins (left and right) are produced square. That is, all lines except (usually) the last one have equal width. The method used to achieve that is for the computer to insert extra space between words as needed to make the margins come out perfectly even. Such justification is very common in books and other printed matter and often regarded as an essential property of quality printing. On computer screens, it's more debatable.

Many book authors have quite an interest in "justify," which is an ancient typographer's term for this style, because one look at many published works (especially hard cover) will show that the type is justified... but still indented.

Testing and usage: You can highlight any text which you wish to have justified and click the Justify button. Or you can click the Justify button prior to typing your text and then again afterwards.

Your code as inserted will look like this:

Quote:
<div class="justify">text here is justfied, even on both margins</div>

Of course, remove the instructional information from the inserted code when you use the justify feature.
