How to create instant slideshows
Any directory in your filemanager with images can have an instant slideshow.
1. All you do is upload (copy) two special files into any directory that has images, which you would like to display in slideshow fashion.
2. In your filemanager, look for a directory called 1masterwideslide. The reason it has a 1 at the beginning is so that it will appear at the top.
3. Doubleclick on that directory.
3. In the 1masterwideslide directory you will see two files index.html and getpics2.php.
4. Then use the dropdown directory selector to choose your target:
5. Choose your target directory.
6. Then click the "Copy to" button to copy those two files to the target directory.
7. That's it. Once the copy is complete you have created an automatic slide show for that directory.
8. The url address for it is simple (no htm file need be shown). For the one we chose for our illustration, the address would be:
http://zqv.com/noevidenceofacrime/files/gallery5
9. Then to show it in your book just put that url into an iframe in one of the wide galleries (you have two to choose from). Remember that the widegallery2 is open to the public.
Example iframe code for a slide show:
Code: | <div><iframe src="http://zqv.com/noevidenceofacrime/files/gallery5" width="100%" height="650" scrolling="yes"></iframe></div> |
