Problem - Write and Show automatically indents the first line of every paragraph. That's nice for most text, but sometimes you would like that first line to be flush left. This is especially true if you are doing a numbered listing. The solution follows.

Answers:
1. Using the special "NoIndent" button:
An auto indent is canceled by using the "true space" feature. With the cursor on the line just prior to the line where you which to cancel the auto-indent, Just click the "True Space" button
It will insert this "code" at the beginning of the line:
That strange set of characters (called a true space) will put a speccial computer-recognized space there and that signals the auto indent to be turned off on the next line.
2. Using the Heading feature (for words that are always are flush left) ':
The Heading feature (use the button in the author tools panel callled Heading) will make the text in between the heading codes to be not only flush left but also in a variety of heading sizes. When you click the Heading button after selecting some text it will look like this:
<h1>Here is some heading text</h1>
Just change the numbers from H1 to H6 for various sizes. Check out this link for a full explanation (with examples) of how to use the Heading feature:
